AIBE Questions

This AIBE question paper PDF is of the 13th All India Bar Examination, conducted on 23rd December 2018. The questions are of a moderate level.

From 2021, you are only allowed to take Bare Act books inside the exam hall. You can take as many Bare Acts as you want. You can carry your books in a trolley, travel bag and take them inside the exam hall. But you cannot carry notes, printouts, or other books inside the All India Bar Examination hall.

Madhya Pradesh Judicial Services Exam Question Papers

Almost every year, the state of Madhya Pradesh releases advertisement for the post of civil judge junior division that is MP PCS(J). The recruitment for MP judicial services exam may vary every year depending upon the number of vacancies.

It is the high court of Madhya Pradesh that conducts the exam in three stages. These are preliminary which is the objective paper, mains which is the subjective or descriptive paper, and interview or viva.

Madhya Pradesh Judicial Service Preliminary Exam Pattern

The preliminary exam of the Madhya Pradesh judicial service exam is a screening test to filter students for the mains exam, which is the real test.

The exam is for 2 hours. It is conducted in online mode containing 150 questions each carrying one mark. There is no negative marking. The marks of preliminary are not added in the final results. Preliminary is a mere qualifying test.

The students who qualify preliminary exam appear for the Mains exam, which is subjective. It consists of 4 papers for which time duration is 3 hours for each paper.

MP Judicial Services Mains Exam Question Paper

First paper is of civil laws (100 marks)
Second paper is of writing and translation (100marks)
Third paper is of criminal laws (100marks)
Fourth paper is judgment writing (100marks)

Madhya Pradesh Judicial Service Exam Interview

The candidate who qualifies the mains exam goes for an interview or viva voce. The interview shall be for 50 marks. The sole motive of the viva is to test the personality and confidence of a candidate to become a judge. Your knowledge and legal acumen have already been examined in the mains exam. So don’t be nervous in the interview.

Qualification Required for the MP PCS (J) Exam

(1) The candidate must be of or above the age of 21 years but less than 35 years of age.
(2) Must be a citizen of India with good moral character.
(3) Candidate must possess an LL.B. degree from an institute recognized by the Bar Council of India.

Maximum 6 attempts can be made for Madhya Pradesh Judicial Services Exam. So make it within this time frame.

Bihar Judicial Service Exam Last Year Question Paper

Bihar Public Service Commission that is BPSC conducts the exam for Bihar judicial services every year. This exam is for the post of civil judge. It is carried out in three stages. These are preliminary, mains, and interview.

Bihar Judiciary Exam, Preliminary 2020

The BPSCJ preliminary exam consists of two papers of total 250 marks.

Paper I: General Studies (100 marks)
Paper II: Law (150 marks)

The candidate must qualify both the papers in aggregate to reach the cut-off. After clearing preliminary, a candidate can appear for the mains exam.

Bihar Judiciary Mains Exam, 2020

The mains exam consists of five compulsory papers and five optional papers. You can select three optional subjects considering the command and knowledge you have in a given subject.

The compulsory papers for BPSCJ mains exam are:

1. General Knowledge and Current Affairs: (150 marks): Indian history, culture, geography, current events and news, polity, etc.
2. Elementary General Science: (up to class 10) (100 marks)
3. General Hindi: (100 marks): Essay writing, sentence formation, grammar up to class 10.
4. General English: (100 marks): Writing skills like precise writing, letter writing, etc.
5. Law of Evidence and Procedure: (150 marks)

The optional papers for BPSCJ are (only 3 to be selected):

1. Constitutional Law of India
2. Hindu law and Muslim law
3. Transfer of Property Act
4. Principles of Equity
5. Law of Contracts and Torts
6. Law of Trusts and Specific Relief Act
7. Commercial Law: This has subjects like Sale of Goods Act, Negotiable Instruments Act, Company Law, Partnership Act, etc.

Things to Know About Bihar Judiciary Exam

The general Hindi and English papers are for the purpose of qualifying only. Candidate needs to secure minimum 30 marks to clear them. This will not be added to the final result marks.

The syllabus for all subjects could not be mention in the above-mentioned list. There are many topics to be covered under a particular subject for the mains examination. For detailed syllabus kindly refer official website bpsc.bih.nic.in

Bihar Judiciary Exam, Interview 2020

The candidate who qualifies both preliminary and mains examination appears for the interview, which is of 100 marks. The viva examines a student’s capability to become a judge. A candidate needs to secure minimum 35 marks in the interview to be in the race.

Qualification Needed for Bihar Judicial Services Exam

(1) Candidate must be of or above the age of 22 years but less than 35 years of age. There is an age relaxation of 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
(2) The candidate must have an LL.B. degree from an institute recognized by the Bar Council of India.
(3) Candidates who have domicile of Bihar will get age relaxation in upper age limit.

Uttarakhand Judicial Services Exam Question Papers

Uttarakhand judicial services exam is also known as UK PCSJ. The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission conducts this exam and selects the best candidates. It looks for individuals who can, in the future, serve in the justice delivery organ, which is the judiciary.

Uttarakhand Judiciary Exam Pattern, Syllabus

The exam held in three stages or phases.

1. Preliminary Exam

The first stage is the preliminary examination consisting of 200 objective type questions. The time duration of the exam will be 3 hours. There will be two segments in the paper:

Part I: General Knowledge (50 marks)

Current Affairs, Neutrality, International Law, Legal Current Affairs, etc.

Note: The area and scope of questions in the general knowledge paper are not confined to the above-mentioned topics. It can cover a wide range of issues and events that are taking place in the present time.

Part II: Law Paper (150 marks)

Transfer of Property Act
Hindu Law
Muslim Law
Law of Evidence
Criminal Procedure Code
Indian Penal Code
Civil Procedure Code, etc.

Attempting both papers is mandatory.

2. Mains Examination

Candidates who qualify preliminary reach stage II, which is the mains examination. The marks of preliminary are not added in the final results. Preliminary is a mere qualifying exam.

The mains examination is subjective in nature. Its questions are portrayed to examine a candidate’s in-depth knowledge in a subject and command over conceptual knowledge.

It consists of 5 papers namely:

Paper I – The Present Day (150 marks)

It is to examine a candidate’s awareness in the legal sphere and national and international affairs. There will be scrutiny of English proficiency and style of writing.

Paper II- Language (100 marks)

It also contains translation from English to Hindi and vice versa.

Paper III- Law Paper I (200 marks)

The paper will test knowledge in substantive laws like family laws, Transfer of Property, etc.

Paper IV- Law paper II (200 marks)

This paper will contain questions from procedural laws and the law of evidence. The questions will be application-based related to charge framing, judgment writing, etc.

Paper V- Law Paper III (200 marks)

This paper examines a candidate’s knowledge of criminal laws. It will also have the land reforms act of Uttarakhand.

Note: Paper I to paper V shall have a time duration of 3 hours.

Practical Examination (100 marks)

The basic computer knowledge exam is to check a candidate’s expertise in basic operations of computers like PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word, Windows, Internet, operating system, etc. These questions shall be attempted by candidates performing actions on a computer. Printout of every action shall be provided in the form of hard copy to the examining team for evaluation.

Note: The practical examination duration will be of 1 hour, and a candidate needs to secure minimum 40 marks to qualify for the exam.

3. Interview

The final stage is the interview. The students who clear preliminary and mains appear for the interview or viva voce. This screening is to check the overall personality of the candidate. The questions put before a candidate may not only relate to the legal field but can also be of general areas, local customs, culture, and so on.
