Why use this tool
Saving a new phone number just to send one Telegram message is unnecessary, and after a while your contact list fills up with numbers you'll never message again.
This free tool lets you message someone on Telegram without saving their number first. Enter their phone number, or just their Telegram username, and you're taken into a chat with them.
Important: If chat with a number doesn't open, it means that person has blocked people from contacting them via their phone number in their Telegram settings. Use their Telegram username if you have.
Prefer WhatsApp for a particular chat? You can message that number on WhatsApp too without saving it.
How to use
- Type or paste the phone number you want to message, or type the person's Telegram username instead (with or without the @ symbol).
- Optionally, type a short message you'd like the chat to open with.
- Tap “Message on Telegram”. This opens a direct chat with that number or username right away, without needing to save it as a contact first.
- Send your message inside the app, or simply leave the chat screen if you change your mind. Nothing is sent unless you tap send.
That's it. No app installation, no contact-saving step, and no account required.

FAQs
Does the website owner see the number, username, or message I type?
No. Everything happens in your browser only. Nothing is transmitted to this website's server, so there's no way for us or anyone else to see what you type.
Will this work on both mobile and desktop?
Yes. On a phone, it opens the Telegram or WhatsApp app directly if it's installed. On a computer, it opens the web version in a new tab, so you can start a chat without saving the number on desktop too.
Can I message someone using their Telegram username instead of a phone number?
Yes. Type their username, with or without the @ symbol, in the same field, and the tool opens a Telegram chat with that username directly. This is handy when you only know someone's username and not their number. Usernames aren't supported for WhatsApp, since it only works with phone numbers.
Why didn't a chat open on Telegram even though the number is correct?
Telegram only opens a chat by phone number if that person has allowed themselves to be found by phone number in their privacy settings. If they've restricted this, Telegram will say no user was found, even though the number itself is right. If you know their username instead, messaging by username will still work.
Is this tool free to use?
Yes. It's completely free, with no sign-up, no installation, and no hidden limits.
Do I need to know the country code to use this?
No. Just select the country from the dropdown menu, and the tool automatically applies the correct code before opening the chat. This isn't needed at all if you're messaging by username.
Can I use this to message someone in another country?
Yes. Select the country code that matches the number you're messaging. For example, +91 for India or +1 for the US, and the tool will format the number correctly.
Can I message on WhatsApp too, or is this Telegram-only?
Both. If the number doesn't have WhatsApp, WhatsApp itself will let you know, the same as if you'd searched for that number inside the app.
